International Hotel, Managua.
Dear Sirs:
I have the honor of answering your communication
dated the 27th of last December. I cannot
accept the conference that you propose in your
letter. I wonder because you offer me
guarantees when I am an outlaw, furthermore, it
is up to us to give guarantees since we are the
genuine sons of Nicaragua. We shall comply
with what we have said before: that we
will not retire because as long as the punitive
Yankees are in our territory, we shall always
hold to arms. In the moment that I am
answering your letter we are looking at the
burning of the town of Quilalí
done by the pirate Yankees. Oh!
Damned flesh that shall have its reward ! !
Patria y Libertad
