Dear friend and mate:

In reply to your letter of today, I inform you that what you have done about the food of the men, is alright. Try and make the moulds such as the General explained it to you, as Mr. Antonio will arrive, but we do not know when, so it is better that you go ahead preparing them. I send you five loaves of sugar. I do not send you any more because at present we have no more. They shall be sent as soon as we get more.
