General Manuel Echeverría:
I send you those papers so that you man be informed of what
is in them and I also want you to answer for me and give
this in my name to the filth of Ramírez. That Ramírez is a
coward, who humbled himself with shamelessness I never
thought of. That the scratch on the arm he got when he fell
from the wall and they did not kill him because I ordered my
boys to respect his life the same as Téllez's. That since he
told the invaders of the proximity of Forces representing
the National Honor, may the homeland curse him, and that the
blood and lives of my patriot soldiers that were lost there
fall on him like an eternal salt, and from today believe
that he will not live long because my boys have sworn to
kill him and thus rid themselves of the pain of the death of
the Patriot Colonel Rufo Antonio Marín and that one deserved
the title of Colonel not he who is a coward who knelt and
kissed the feet of my soldiers.
