images found in Record Group 165, Entry 77,
Boxes 2650-2664, the Military Intelligence
Division for Nicaragua, 1922-1944. The
only other images of note from this record group
are the 30 photos taken by US Military Attaché

This newspaper
photograph of Lt. Abelardo Cuadra was
found with a report dated 26 April 1935,
describing Lt. Cuadra's involvement in a
conspiracy to overthrow the Guardia's
Jefe Director Anastasio Somoza García.
